About Robbi Robertson, MSW LICSW
Robbi Robertson brings over 25 years of experience as a clinical social worker, serving in diverse roles across military, medical, and community settings. She earned her Master of Social Work from Western Michigan University and her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from California State University, Northridge.
She specializes in working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, PTSD, bipolar spectrum disorders, autism spectrum disorders, and adjustment concerns, as well as those coping with medical conditions that impact mood and functioning. She is certified in EMDR and biofeedback, with a particular focus on trauma, including childhood abuse, sexual trauma, and intimate partner violence.
Her career includes extensive work with the Department of Defense, where she developed and led trauma recovery programs for service members impacted by combat and military sexual trauma. She also served veterans through the VA Medical Centers, providing psychotherapy, program leadership, and clinical supervision.
In addition to her clinical practice at The Joy and Wellness Center, [Name] is a state-certified Clinical Supervisor, supporting the growth of new professionals entering the behavioral health field. She is also an Affiliate Instructor with the University of Washington’s School of Social Work and has served as a practicum instructor for MSW students since 2001.
